The Old World Blues

“The Old World Blues”, a dedication to the musical legacy of the first half of 20th century. The program is based on popular swing and bossa nova tunes from the 20s to the 60s, and also includes authentic tango music from pre-soviet Eastern Europe. The central idea of this concert program is nostalgia for the musical era, which has been preserved only in memories and analog recordings. “The Old World Blues” is a longing for a time when the talent, simplicity of expression and sincerity of a musician were not yet removed from the pedestal of public veneration by the ruthless censorship of the modern general consumer.
