Duo Litanei
Cello and piano duo
Duo Litanei was formed by Kosovar pianist Mrika Sefa and cellist Portuguese Hugo Paiva, in 2018. The duo has been mentored by several internationally renowned instrumentalists, such as Marc Coppey, Maria de Macedo, Emmanuelle Bertrand, Christophe Coin, Miguel Borges Coelho, Paulo Gaio Lima, Caspar Frantz, Peter Bruns, among others. The duo has had the opportunity to play in various venues in countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, etc. Currently they live in Leipzig (Germany), where they attend the Masters in chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, in the class of Caspar Frantz. On stage, the two elements of the duo share the same sensibility and devotion for chamber music, since the first notes they played together.
