Lourenço Guerreiro was born in Lisbon into a family of classical musicians. He began his musical studies at the age of 8, at the Nossa Senhora do Cabo Music School, in the oboe class of Prof Luís Vieira, completing his studies at the Artistic Music School of the Lisbon National Conservatory with Prof José Coutinho.

He then went on to study at ETIC and EPI, where he studied with Paulo Abelho, acquiring knowledge in the field of sound engineering.

As a sound technician he has taken part in various live events and studio recordings. In Portugal, he worked at Teatro do Bairro ( AR de Filmes, LDA ), where he stood out in the play “O Jovem Mágico” by Mário Cesariny. He was invited and collaborated as a sound technician at the Festival Músicas do Mundo, Oeiras Cool Jazz, MistyFest and others.

In 2021 he was invited to lead the sound team at the German company UR-WERK in Wuppertal. During this time he had the opportunity to work with Ulrich Rasch and Peter Brötzmann, further enriching his experience.

As a sound technician, he was responsible for several concerts, including Kulturfestival – Somma`21 and Brötz 80. At the same time, he has also been invited to organise Live Streams in Germany, Italy and Austria.

He currently lives in Switzerland, where he is developing various artistic projects, including Duo NOZ, of which he is the founder. In the field of music and sound technology, he works as a freelancer and creative entrepreneur.
