MARIANA LEMOS
Dancer
Mariana Lemos is a dancer, passionate teacher, director, apprentice producer and music lover. She was a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation scholar in 2013/14, in the course of Communication of the Body Arts at PUC/São Paulo/Brazil; she has a master’s degree in dance teaching methodologies from ESD/Lisbon and a degree in dance from UNICAMP/Brazil. Tirelessly researches (always trying to find more questions) What can a body that listens while dancing… She learns, works and collaborates with various artists in dance, performance and music. Collectively created Lagoa in 2016 and more recently AFÁRÁ artistic realizations, a production company dedicated to improvisation in the performing arts. He is part of c.e.m – centro em movimento, since its arrival in Portugal in the year 2004.
