Leonor Azedo holds a Master’s degree in Musical Sciences from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences (FCSH-UNL). She began her professional career with the Macao Chinese Orchestra in 2013 as part of her Master’s thesis “We are the State and the State is the Territory”. She returned to Lisbon in 2016 to work as an archivist and producer for the Gulbenkian Orchestra. She also worked as an archivist and producer for the Orquestra Estágio Gulbenkian (2018 and 2019 editions), under the artistic direction of conductor Joana Carneiro.

She worked at Intermúsica, managing the sale and rental of sheet music for different artistic and cultural organisations (TNSC, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Casa da Música, among others). Since 2019 she has been working as a producer, stage director and assistant orchestra manager, having collaborated with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Belém Cultural Centre. In recent years she has collaborated regularly with Orquestra XXI and was responsible for the Communication and External Relations sector of Orquestra Sem Fronteiras (2020-2022). 

More recently, she has worked in production, music archiving and artistic management in Portugal and is the music archivist for the Verbier Festival. 

She currently lives in Vienna where she works as tour manager and audition coordinator at the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester.
